Sender names
Alpha and numeric sender names are both available, more information about the Sender ID-s is available here.
Network operators require sender name pre-registration, otherwise, messages are rejected by the operators. The registration process may take up to a month.
The registration process requires:
- Requested sender name
- Company details - name, address, website URL
- Content examples
- Additional documentation to be filled in, signed and stamped
Content restrictions

Marketing messages require opt-in and opt-out by the client. More information is available here.
No political, religious, unsolicited marketing, or gambling content
Promotional senders are prohibited to be sent between 10 PM and 7 AM Saudi Arabia time zone (GMT +3) daily.
Added suffixes or prefixes for content - senders registered for promotional traffic must include the suffix (-AD) after the sender such as (XXXXXX-AD).
